While there have been a lot of romance at the Rio Olympics with at least 3 marriage proposals so far, there has also been another type of love going on.
A video has come up showing the hilarious moment BBC Olympics presenter Dan Walker was interrupted by a couple who appeared to be having sex behind him on a beach in Rio.
Walker, who was talking about the Olympics, was alerted to what was going on behind him by social media viewers who were tweeting about the ‘amorous’ positioning of a couple behind him in the shoreline background.
He looked back and saw what was going on and tried to laugh it off by telling viewers that the scene behind him wasn’t “that” and that the pair were ‘having a hug’ or ‘reading a book…. in a strange pose’.
He said “And for those asking what’s going on in the background on social media now,” said Dan, “we’re not going to zoom in, but rest assured it’s not ‘that’, it’s just a hug … they’re reading a book … they are reading a book in a strange pose.”
“It’s merely a book. We’ll find out what the book is … maybe.. a little bit later on.”
