(UPDATED) Four killed as explosion rocks Kogi radio station

No fewer than four people were confirmed dead while many others were critically injured following an explosion at a radio station in Kogi State.Our correspondent gathered on Tuesday that the radio station,TAO FM, which is located at the centre of Okene town in Kogi Central Senatorial district,  was bombed about 8pm on Monday.The radio operates on 101.5 frequency.No group has claimed responsibility for the bombing while the motive for the attacks is unknown.Kogi State Police Public Relations Officer, Mr. Shola Adebayo, confirmed the attack in a telephone interview with our correspondent on Tuesday morning.He said four people as of Monday night had been confirmed dead while some other victims were injured.Adebayo added that the injured victims had been rushed to hospital for treatment.He said the police had commenced investigation with a view to unravelling the motive behind the attack and to apprehend the culprits.
