Police nab Delta Polytechnic graduate, 3 others for robbery

A graduate of Delta State Polytechnic, Ozoro and three others, who broke into a house at Okuokoko community in the state, stole Highlander Jeep and other valuables, have been apprehended by the police.They were arrested by policemen attached to the Anti-Crime Patrol, Ebrumede Police Division, who intercepted them at Petroleum Training Institute, PTI Junction, Effurun, during a stop and search duty.Police Public Relations Officer, PPRO, Delta State Command, DSP Celestina Kalu, said, “On questioning the occupants identified as Onoriode ‘m’ , aged 26yrs, Anthony ‘m’, aged 21yrs, Moses ‘m’, aged 25yrs and Christopher ‘m’, aged 25yrs , a graduate of Delta State Polytechnic , Ozoro, they confessed that they broke into a house located at Okuokoko and stole the Jeep and other properties. Consequently, the suspects werepromptly arrested.”She said the police recovered the said Highlander Jeep with registration number, KWL 576 KA, 11 handsetsof various makes, three ATM cards, one battle axe, two face masks and two toy guns from the suspects.“Meanwhile, investigation is in progress. The suspects will be charged to court at the end of investigation,” she added.
