Queen of England finally joins the party, posts first-ever Tweet

Her Royal Majesty, Queen Elizabeth II finally embraced micro-blogging
platform, Twitter, by posting her first tweet on Friday, 24 October.
Queen Elizabeth’s first tweet was sent from the verified @BritishMonarchy
account during the opening of the Information Age exhibit at London’s
Science Museum. The account has 809,000 followers and so far, the Queen’s first Tweet has
been retweeted 32,698 times and favorited 33,375 times.
