The Peoples Democratic Party governorship candidate in Enugu State, Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi, has expressedoptimism that President Goodluck Jonathan will win the February 14 presidential election.Ugwuanyi said Jonathan would be re-elected “because of his good works and transformation agenda,” which he said had endeared the President to the electorate.He spoke while addressing supporters at the PDP governorship campaign rally in the Oji River Local Government Area of Enugu State.The PDP candidate therefore called on the people of Oji River to come out in large numbers and vote for Jonathan and other candidates of the party in the state in the general elections.Governor Sullivan Chime, at the rally, thanked the people of Oji River for their support and urged them tocollect their permanent voter cards to enable them vote during the elections.Deputy Senate President, Ike Ekweremadu, who is equally the PDP senatorial candidate in the area, alsoaddressed the rally, alongside the party’s candidate for the House of Representatives election, Toby Okechukwu.
