Let us demonstrate our democracy has grown –Mu’azu

The National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party, Alhaji Adamu Mu’azu, has urged Nigerians to pray for peaceful polls in 2015.Mu’azu  said they should also pray for an enhanced national security and the continued development ofthe country.He stated this in his New Year message to Nigerians on Monday.He also urged Nigerians to pray for the families of “our missing schoolgirls and the victims of the various bomb blasts in Nigeria, just as we thank God for the mercies granted us by freeing us from the scourges of Ebola and the positive transformation of our country in various fields.”He added that the steady progress Nigeria had made in recent years had been outstanding.“We must thank God for making our country the biggest economy in Africa, not forgetting increased agricultural production and the investment opportunities our country continued to attract as well as the massive infrastructural development at the local, state and national levels,” the PDP chairman stated.Mu’azu called on Nigerians to eschew violence as “we approach the 2015 elections because we must show the world that our democracy has come of age over the last 15 years of democratic governance inthe country.”
